Noah's Ark by Crissy Armstrong

I used this adorable image from this month's Clear & Rubber stamp release over at the Whimsy Stamps store - 'Noah's Ark' by Crissy Armstrong.

I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils.
I used some blue embossed paper to frame the picture and mounted it onto some kraft cardstock.
The sentiment is a digital sentiment from the 'Vintage Sentiment' set on Whimsy Stamps, which I then die cut using the stitched tag dies from Whimsy Stamps.
A little baker's twine and a sparkly brad finishes the card off!

Thanks for looking!
Happy crafting :-)

Product Spotlight - Hope with special guest Heidi

Hi everyone, Heidi here again: today I’ll show you my second project as a guest designer on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog.

The new release is just gorgeous and I love the new stamps designed by Sylvia Zet, especially the one I’ll be showing you today, because, I'm a sucker for fairies!

Today's card is featuring the cute new “Hope”fairy stamp. I also used several other new Whimsy Stamps products. You see the purple and white background? It's made with the new "Friendly Flowers" clear stamp set, released this month! I also used some sequins from the “Valentine Assortment Sequin Mix”by Whimsy Stamps.

I used my Faber Castell Polychromos and also some Holbein Artists'Colored Pencils to color this image on Strathmore Colored Pencil paper. If you would like to know more about how I made this card and what exact colors I used then you can go over to my website for more details:   http://www.makeyourlifecolourful.com/single-post/2017/02/15/Whimsy-Stamps-new-release-February-2017-%E2%80%9CHope%E2%80%9D

Braided Sweetie

Linda here and oh my, I'm running a little late. I did not realise it's already the 4th Saturday in the Month and my posting day on the Whimsy blog.

To make matters worse I've been very busy trying to clear stuff in my spare room as I'm finally getting a craft room! Woohoo! It will still need to act as a spare room so it's definitely going to have to be adaptable storage etc.but at least it means I should have everything in one room instead of racing up and down stairs lol.

Anyway, I'm here now and sharing this pretty card made with a lovely stamp from our new artist
She's called Braided Sweetie, isn't she just so pretty?

I've coloured her with distress ink markers and if you would like to know more about this card, pop over to my blog here.

Right, back to sorting out storage!

Happy crafting!

Sending Love

Hello!  This  month has flown by and it’s already time for me to share one of my Whimsy Stamps cards.

bev-rochester-maja-sending-love1

I made a shaped card for a change, and enhanced the patterend paper by randomly stamping the awesome chicken wire stamp from the Lovely Lavender stamp set the top layer.  LOVE this stamp ♥♥♥  I also stamped out butterflies from the Flight of the Butterflies stamp set (also Whimsy)  onto patterend paper and fussy cut them out, as well as the beautiful sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by Smile

Birdie Friend

MichelleO here today and I am so ready for Spring... not such a winter person here. And if the calendar isn't moving quite fast enough then I might as well color up some spring right? Totally loving Whimsy Stamps Crissy Armstrong's new "Birdie Friend"

Isn't she just adorable!! Love that little birdies too! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then used a pattern paper from DCWV Tres Chic collection. The fabulous Whimsy Shapeology Double Scallop Doily Die in Square as a mat with more of the same pattern paper. I rounded the corners to fit inside the matted die. The sentiment "You Make my hear Smile"  is from Whimsy Stamps Digital Vintage Sentiments collection. LOVE this set!!! Then topped it off with a 3-D bow die.

Bee-Cause!

Hi Everyone!

It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

For my card today I've used the sweet Bee-Cause stamp by Krista Heij-Barber, with a butterfly that 'flies' across the card to visit the flowers using the fabulous and easy-to-use  Slip 'n Slide die set.

I've also used the April Showers digital papers by Tracy Wray, Vintage Digital sentiments by Bev Rochester and Summer Breeze Enamel Dots, all available from Whimsy Stamps.

The stamped images are coloured with Copic markers, and fussy-cut, then arranged onto my card to create a little garden scene. I finished the card with some bright Whimsy enamel dots.

I hope you like it! You can see more details on my Blog;  Embellished ExpresShan's.

Product Spotlight - Peace with special guest Heidi

Hi everyone, Heidi here: today I have the honor to be guest designer on the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Blog.

The new release is so much fun and I just love the new stamps designed by Sylvia Zet. Today I will show you a card that features the new “Peace” stamp. I also used a sentiment from the new “Friendly Flowers” clear stamp set and sequins from the “Valentine Assortment Sequin Mix” all by Whimsy Stamps.

I feel this cute girl is so versatile: she is suitable for birthdays and other celebrations but also “get well” cards. You just have to love this image and it's very easy to color. With the way her hair is designed you are given guidelines you can follow and that made coloring that part not that difficult either (I don't know about you but coloring hair often scares me).

The way the sentiments from the clear stamp set are designed they fit the other stamp from this February release so well, like they are made for each other. I love the result!

I used my Faber Castell Polychromos to color this image on Strathmore Toned Tan paper.

If you would like to know more about how I made this card and what exact colors I used then you can go over to my website for more details, click here.

I wish everybody a creative day and lots of fun with this great new release!
